Our university has been granted the 2025 Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Excellence Award in the category of “University Industry Collaboration.” This prestigious award has been presented in recognition of the project “Legged Robotic Platforms,” carried out within the METU Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Application and Research Center (ROMER) in partnership with ASELSAN.
Our faculty member, also the project coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mert Ankaralı received the award together with our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025–2026 Academic Year.
Dr. Ankaralı, who recently elevated our department's name on national and international platforms with his valuable contributions to the CHERI project, has added another award to the ODTÜ Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department's portfolio with this work.
