The old version of EE201 (4-0) carries a total of 4 credits. The new version (3-2) also carries a total of 4 credits. This new credit structure makes the course easier. The new EE201 will be offered starting from the Fall semester of 2026–2027. Beginning in Fall 2026–2027, all students (those subject to the new curriculum and those subject to the old curriculum who have failed the course or wish to retake it) will take the updated version of the course. Students subject to the old curriculum will be exempt from the laboratory load of the new EE201.
-
The EE213 laboratory course has been removed from the updated curriculum. However, it will continue to be offered for students subject to the old curriculum.
-
The old version of EE202 (4-0) carries a total of 4 credits. The new version (3-0) carries a total of 3 credits. This new credit structure makes the course easier. The new EE202 will be offered starting from the Spring semester of 2026–2027. Beginning in Spring 2026–2027, all students (those subject to the new curriculum and those subject to the old curriculum who have failed the course or wish to retake it) will take the updated version of the course.
-
The credit structure of EE361 (3-2) has not changed. The prerequisite course EE224 has been removed. This adjustment makes the course easier for students taking it. The new EE361 will be offered starting from the Fall semester of 2027–2028. The prerequisite change will also take effect starting from Fall 2027–2028.
-
Starting from the Spring semester of 2026–2027, EE316 will be considered equivalent to PHYS213. Thus, students subject to the old curriculum who are required to take PHYS213 or wish to retake it will instead take EE316.

-
Starting from the Spring semester of 2027–2028, EE322 will be considered equivalent to EE303. Thus, students subject to the old curriculum who are required to take EE303 or wish to retake it will take EE322. Starting from Spring 2027–2028, EE303 will be removed from the course catalogue.
-

Starting from Spring 2027–2028, EE441 will be removed from the course catalogue.
-
Starting from the Spring semester of 2027–2028, EE346 (the earlier offering of the former EE445) will be considered equivalent to EE445.
