Kemal Parlaktuna

Kemal Parlaktuna received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East
Technical University in 2020. He is currently an M.Sc. student at METU. His main research
interest is state estimation in distribution networks. He is also interested in power system
identification and smart grids. He plays ultimate frisbee in his free time.

Onur Akdeniz

Onur AKDENİZ was born in Trabzon, Turkey, in 1998. He received the B.S. degrees in electrical-electronics engineering and physics from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey in 2020 and 2021, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the M.S. degree in electronics field of electrical-electronics engineering. His current research interests include short-wave infrared photodetectors and integration of III-V semiconductor materials on silicon photonic integrated circuits.

Utkucan DOĞAN

Utkucan graduated from Ankara Science High School in 2017. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University. He continues with his master’s degree in the same university. He has an interest in hardware and software, and he continues his research in Computer Networks. He has an interest in Linguistics as a hobby.

Okyanus Oral

Okyanus Oral received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical - Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in 2021. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. degree at the same department in signal processing area. His research interests include inverse problems, computational imaging, deep learning and optimization.

Oğul Can Yurdakul

Oğul Can Yurdakul received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering degree  in 2021 and will receive his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics in 2022 from Middle East Technical University. He is continuing his studies as an M.Sc. student in Electrical-Electronics Engineering at METU in signal processing under the supervision of Dr. Emre Özkan, focusing on density fusion and particle filtering. He aims to make use of his statistical signal processing knowledge in neuroscience research in the future. In his spare time, Oğul Can practices aikido and takes pictures whenever he has his camera with him.

Ogün Altun

Ogün was born in Bursa in 1997. He received his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2020. Now, he is pursuing his master’s degree in Energy Conversion and Power Electronics field in METU EEE. He is a member of METU PowerLab research group and he is currently working on is wireless power transfer.

Cemil Cömert

Cemil graduated from Çanakkale Vahit Tuna Anatolian High School in 2015. He received his B.Sc. degree in 2020 from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University. Cemil is currently pursuing his M.Sc. degree in Electronics field and he is working on capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers. He likes swimming, listening to Turkish folk music, and spending time with his friends.

Engin Can Çicek

Engin Can Çiçek was born in İzmir. He graduated from İzmir Atatürk Anatolian High School. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in 2019. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. degree in Electromagnetics Area. His research interests include applied electromagnetics, microelectronics packaging, 2.5-D and 3-D integration, and machine learning applications of packaging and electromagnetic problems.

Musa Selim Gül

Selim was born in İstanbul in 1997. He received his BSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2020. He joined METU Quantum Devices and Nanophotonics Research Laboratory at the beginning of 2019 as an undergraduate researcher. Now, he is a graduate researcher at the same lab while pursuing his M.Sc. degree in the same department. His research interests are semiconductor devices, mostly infrared photodetectors.

Ayşegül Kılıç

Ayşegül graduated from Hacı Ömer Tarman Anatolian High School in 2015. She received her B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2020. She is currently pursuing her M.Sc. Degree in Control Area. Her research interests include locomotion in biological systems, system identification, and control theory.

Onur Selim Kılıç

Onur Selim graduated from Mustafa Azmi Doğan Anatolian High School in 2015. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 2020 and he has a double major in Mathematics. He is pursuing his master’s degree in METU Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department in Signal Processing field and he is a researcher at the METU Center for Image Analysis (OGAM). His research interests are computer vision, object detection and pattern recognition.

Hakan Polat

Hakan Polat (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey, in 2018, where he is currently pursuing the M.Sc. degree. His current research interests include electromagnetic launchers, pulsed-power sources, renewable energy, and wireless power transfer.
