Evaluations of 2019/1st Term project proposals to Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program are announced. METU has been the highest number of 1001 Program approvals with 20 projects.
3 projects of our faculty members (Assist. Prof. Ozan Keysan, Prof. Klaus Werner Schmidt, Prof. Nevzat Güneri Gençer) have been approved. We wish success to our members in their new projects.
CEMMETU members made 7 presentations at PIERS-2019 in Rome. Hande Ibili received the 2nd prize for the best student paper award (Metamaterials, Plasmonics and Complex Media track). Aşkın Altınoklu was also awarded honorable mention in his track (Computational Electromagnetics, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Scattering and Electromagnetic Theory).
