"TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Encouragement Awards" 2021 evaluation results have been announced. Our faculty member Dr. Selçuk Yerci was entitled to receive the 2021 TÜBİTAK Encouragement Award.

We congratulate him and his team for their hard work and success.

Our Faculty Members Çağatay Candan, Özgür Ergül, Umut Orguner and Emre Tuna made us all proud by being included in the list of the 2021 version of the “Ranking of Researchers With the Greatest Scientific Impact in the World”, published by Elsevier BV and prepared by Stanford University researchers.

Prof. Dr. Elif Uysal was promoted to IEEE Fellow for her pioneering contributions to energy-efficient and low-latency communications by the IEEE Board of Directors. We congratulate her for her worldwide recognition and success and thank her for her contributions to our country and our department.

Graduate School of Natural and Applied Science Awards for the 2019-2020 Academic Year are announced.

We congratulate Begüm Şen Doğan, who received the Micro and Nanotechnology PhD Thesis Contributing to Environment, Health, Economy and Sustainable Development Award, and her advisors Prof. Dr. Haluk Külah and Assoc. Dr. Ebru Özgür and Can Deniz Bezek, who received the Lecture Performance Award, and wish them success in their future.

Berre Vize, our 4th year undergraduate student of METU Electrical and Electronics Engineering, was awarded the second place in the field of Information and Communication Technologies in the TÜBİTAK-2242 University Students Research Project Competitions.
